Welcome to Mannum Auto and Marine Detailing. Listed below are the Marine detailing packages offered to greatly enhance the appearance of your boat, while providing lasting protection to bring your boat back to near showroom condition, however results will vary depending on the age and condition of the boat.

We do not operate as a mobile detailing service, boats are serviced at our well equipped undercover workshop located in Mannum, South Australia.

Depending upon the level of work undertaken, you should expect the boat to be with us for up to two days for a Wash and Wax Detail, and up to five days for the Oxidation Removal Service.

Should you wish to contact us to request a quote, we will be happy to meet with you at a location of your choice in order to discuss your requirements, conduct a pre-service boat inspection. and to provide a quotation for the agreed work to be undertaken.

Light Oxidation Removal

The Oxidation Removal service will restore the Gelcoat on boats that appear dull, faded or discolored due to Oxidisation. This service usually follows the Wash and Wax Detail and is performed in order to restore shine and gloss to all Gelcoat surfaces. Note pricing is calculated per foot for boat lengths under 30 feet.

  • One step machine compounding to remove Oxidation (1st step).

  • One step machine polishing to remove compounding marks and restore shine and gloss (2nd step).

  • Isopropyl wipe down to remove all compounding and polishing oils.

  • One step machine application of liquid Sealant protection, applied to all interior and exterior Gelcoat surfaces (3rd step).


Pricing starts from $5 per machine step (usually 3 steps) per foot in addition to the Wash and Wax pricing

Top Side only - $10 per step per foot

Rub Rail down to water line only - $5 per step per foot

Entire Boat - $15 per step per foot

Wash and Wax Detail

The Wash and Wax service is suited to boats where the Gelcoat is not greatly Oxidised, and exhibits a reasonable level of shine and gloss. This service is to thoroughly clean and wash the boat inside and out, and finally to apply a layer of durable protection to all surfaces. Note pricing is calculated per foot for boat lengths under 30 feet.

  • Foam pressure wash and scrub Hull and all interior surfaces with brush to break down surface dirt and grime and to strip any existing wax or sealants from the Gelcoat

  • Vinyl seats and side padding cleaned and coated with protectant.

  • Compartments cleaned.

  • Mold and Mildew removed from surfaces.

  • Bright work cleaned and coated with protectant.

  • Hull cleaned to remove orange stain at water line, and any black rub marks that may be present

  • Engine cleaned, inboard/outboard

  • Glass cleaned.

  • One step machine application of liquid Sealant protection applied to all interior and exterior Gelcoat surfaces.
